Nearby Lakes

Aberdeen Lake - Aberdeen Lake, a large lake of 254 ha. (627 ac.) is found just minutes to the north of Haddo. Containing wild Rainbows up to 2-1/2 lbs, Aberdeen is considered a good fly lake. A 15 vehicle semi-open BCFS campsite with good cartop boat launching can be found on the southwest shore.

Nicklen Lake - Nicklen Lake located just northeast of Aberdeen, is 89 ha. (220 ac.) in size and lies at an elevation of 1341 m. (4399 ft.). Medium sized wild Rainbows are caught consistently throughout the open water season. Nicklen receives moderate fishing pressure and stocking may eventually be required because of its lack of good spawning areas. The popular lake has 2 BCFS campsites with a total of 30 vehicle sites. Both sites have good cartop boat launches.

Note: Always check your current BC Fishing regulations before you start fishing a new lake.
